As outlined by Carlisle Plastic in a recent Medium article titled “A List of Some Essential Benefits of Plastisol Dip Coating,” this traditional yet highly effective plastic coating method continues to offer significant advantages across a wide range of industries.
Plastisol dip coating involves submerging a preheated part into liquid vinyl (plastisol), which adheres to the component. Once heat-cured, the result is a flexible, protective plastic coating with durable, springy properties. For items that cannot endure high heat, a cold dip method can be used to apply the plastisol—adding even more versatility to the process.
