Upon heating to approximately 180 °C (356 °F), these plastic particles absorb the plasticizer, causing them to swell and fuse together, resulting in a viscous gel. Upon cooling below 60 °C (140 °F), it transforms into a flexible, permanently plasticized solid product through a process known as ‘curing’.
