Some substrates, particularly non-ferrous, require an intermediate process between cleaning and priming for painting.
Trans-Acc regularly incorporates Pretreatment Services for the majority of ferrous and all non-ferrous surfaces.
Trans-Acc will pre-treat depending on specification or application, as required. Pretreatment enhances corrosion resistance of these surfaces, as well as the adhesion of the coating material. To ensure the quality of our pretreated substrates, we perform a range of testing operations, including water break testing, accelerated corrosion resistance testing, salt spray testing, and dry adhesion testing.
Trans-Acc offers Pretreatment Services to customers requesting one of our coating services, or as a stand-alone service.
